Who is Marshall Kern?

The author of The Master’s Emblem Explained for Masons is Marshall Kern. Marshall Kern is a Past Master of Victoria Lodge No. 56, and honoured as a Fellow of the College of Freemasonry by the Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Canada in the Province of Ontario.

Starting in July of 2021 he has held the office of Grand Historian.

Marshall Kern has written Masonic Education articles for a publication of the Grand Lodge AF&AM Of Canada in the Province of Ontario. An article explaining the significance of the word “paralellepipidon” appears in the 2020 edition of Ars Quatuor Coronatorum Volume 133 (2020).

2023 marks the 300th anniversary of the publication of Anderson’s Constitutions. There are commemorative events throughout the year. Marshall Kern contributed to the celebrations with Ian Donald (Grand Librarian) with a paper describing an alternate Constitutions published in 1728 by Benjamin Cole.
